Seafloor EchoBoat-240

The Seafloor EchoBoat-240™ is a high-performance unmanned surface vehicle (USV) designed for hydrographic surveys with demanding sensor and payload requirements. It is positioned as a robust platform for projects requiring maximum measurement resolution and extensive instrumentation, without the need for manned survey vessels.

Compared to smaller systems, the EchoBoat-240 offers a large payload capacity and a wave-cutting hull that enables stable data acquisition even in more challenging conditions. The UUV can be operated autonomously or by remote control, has an operational duration of up to eight hours, and, despite its size, can be handled by two people.

The system is designed for use with high-quality multibeam, single-beam, side-scan, ADCP/DVL and sub-bottom sonars and is particularly suitable for high-resolution bathymetry, data acquisition for dredging projects, environmental monitoring, and surveys in ports, rivers, lakes and coastal waters. The EchoBoat-240 thus represents a scalable, high-end solution for professional hydrographic applications.

Applications

Inspection/surveying of mines, sewage treatment plants, lakes, harbours, rivers and coastal areas. Both remote-controlled and autonomous navigation systems are available.
