Unmanned survey vessels
The Seafloor TriDrone™ Gen. 3 is an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) designed for hydrographic surveys in confined, shallow or hard-to-access waters. It has been developed for use in situations where larger boats cannot operate safely or cost-effectively.
Thanks to its foldable trimaran design (three-hull concept), the TriDrone is particularly compact, stable and can be carried by a single person. It is operated remotely from the shore, making work in contaminated or hazardous waters significantly safer. For data acquisition, the TriDrone features a hull-integrated single-beam echo sounder, is GNSS and tachymeter compatible, and offers several hours of operating time per battery charge. Typical applications include bathymetry, environmental monitoring, and inspections of water bodies, mines, sewage treatment plants and infrastructure-related areas.
Inspection/surveying of rivers and lakes with steep banks, mines, sewage treatment plants and contaminated waters.
